Exclusive Tips

  • Carry out your board exam preparation simultaneously with +2 boards.A single strategy is enough to master both exams.Let the board exam be your first mock test.
  • After school, devote minimum 2 hours daily for CUET preparation. You should have already built your base in school, now focus on a comprehensive coverage of the book not leaving a single line. Each little box, quote or picture is relevant. It might turn to be the game changer!
  • NCERT is the only key to top CUET. Go through it atleast 3 times, the maximum times you can go through it,much better!

1. Read and don’t learn. Instead just try to understand what the text is saying and create a basic understanding. This will be your foundation.

2.This time, underline or highlight the points you are unfamiliar with or has missed out in the first reading. Underline all those points you haven’t prepared notes for in your school classes or those which the teacher hasn’t taught you,so that you wont miss them out. Also go through all those boxes and one liners in every hook and corner of your pages which you always skip!

3.Now after going through your main notes,go through these underlined or highlighted portions in your testbook so that you have a complete grasp of the topic.

[Note: You can find questions directly taken from the NCERT in your paper, so every minute you spent reading it will be worth it!]

-Choose your dream college and make sure to go through its eligibility criteria as different universities have different criterias. Make the perfect preference list, a wrong preference sheet can ruin your career. Rank the most preferred ones at the top.Make it as much long as you can with the least desired ones at the bottom.

-Choose your study material wisely. Make it limited but relevant rather than skimming through all.Just stick to NCERTs,mocktests and Eduport special materials.

-Devise unique strategies for each subject. For example, for English improve your vocabulary and grammatical sense whereas be careful of timelines and periods in History.

-For quantitative aptitude and mathematical subjects, prepare a small notebook with important equations to revise straight before exam.

-For general test, be well aware of current affairs, general knowledge and equip yourselves with logical reasoning and quantitative aptitude skills.

-Practice, practice, Practice! Do as many mock tests you can so that there is no singe question or pattern you are not familiar with.

-PYQs are the holy grail. Know your enemy before the battle.Carefully analyse the structure, pattern and syllabus of questions and try to solve them in stipulated time.

-Time management is a must as all your efforts will be in vain if you don’t know to manage your time.Improve your speed in attending questions.Try doing tests under time pressure.

Consistency is the key. Dont overpressurise yourselves in a day and  breakdown. Instead take consistent baby steps everyday and one day you would have conquered it already!

-Next comes the inevitable part- Revision. Dedicate the last two months solely for preparation. Dont learn anything new during this time and stress yourselves out.Instead revise what you have already learnt so that you will be able to attend any question coming from that section.

-Maintain your health and well being. Stay hydrated, healthy and happy. Only a healthy and vibrant soul can take on great challenges
